"Last year we decided we were ready to add a doxie to our family after losing our Peanut a year earlier. It was a very big step for us because we had a lot of issues with our first doxie but absolutely love the breed and really wanted another. Finding the right fit was very important to us and Melissa was GREAT with answering all of our questions! We have a little boy who just turned six and Charlie is great with him. We have had several opportunities to meet all of Melissa's dachshunds and they are the absolute sweetest and have the best temperament! My son has been around all of them and they were great with him. Melissa and her family take wonderful care of all of their doxies and their babies. They are very proactive in socializing the puppies, working on potty training and getting them comfortable with a crate environment before sending them home. They are also well socialized with other dogs with is great! Anytime I have questions about Charlie or would like her opinion on something she is extremely helpful and is very knowledgeable about the breed. We are very excited to be adding two more doxies to our family from her most recent litter! We are so blessed to have found Belridge Dachshunds (formerly Southern Dream Dachshunds)!"

"Our hearts are one again full after the passing of our beloved, 14 year-old Guinness. In January, I came upon Melissa's site. Immediately after messaging her with interest, she responded and answered any and all questions. Yesterday, we brought home our new fur baby, Lincoln. This place is authentic and run by a family who truly care about their pups. Melissa is a phenomenal communicator. She wants the best for her pups and the families who want one of them. Once we placed our deposit we received multiple updates a week and were able to watch our sweet boy grow and change. It was a priceless experience!
